Reiki Practitioner

My name is Isla and I’m 18 years old. I recently completed my Reiki Levels 1 and 2 thanks to a Bramshott Educational Trust Award, so I am now a qualified Reiki Practitioner!

I left school after 6 weeks of A-levels due to struggling in school as a neurodivergent person. I am also physically disabled and a young carer and this has meant that education is very challenging for me and I am currently unable to get a job.

My last job at a crystal shop unlocked a new passion and I became interested in becoming a Reiki Practitioner. However, it didn’t feel like this would ever happen.

After a neighbour told my mum about the charity, I decided to apply for funding to complete my training and was delighted to be successful! 

This qualification has really given me a boost and I am currently looking at options locally to rent a treatment room and begin offering sessions to clients.
